Congrats to Geer on his victory. While most think that winning via a preplay is BS, Geer managed to double down and do it with a scorecard playoff. I guess you get that kind of crap on a tour where the commissioner shows up to half of the events. All joking aside, you have to tip your hat to a guy who can come in under par on the very challenging Heritage Hills. Despite the moisture, the course showed well & definitely should be considered a yearly stop for the KAGT going forward. It’s no Shawnee, but it will do, I suppose.
Next up is the QCGCDFCI at the Quail on or around Aug 15. More info to follow.
Standings
Match play is included w/ points accumulated thus far. The lowest two scores for each golfer have been dropped. Dino has a nice lead, but both he and Geer are out of Match Play, which leaves Steve Brown within striking distance down the stretch.
